4/10 Parents Are Getting Into Debt To Get Their Children Through College
41% are servicing debts to the tune of €1,400 over the course of the academic year
Accommodation tops the list of financial burdens on students and their parents, with college fees and transport also a worry for many college goers.
Speaking to RedFM News Regional coordinator for the St Vincent de Paul in Cork and Kerry Gerry Garvey says students are contacting the charity with help paying for transport to college:
