50 million spent weekly on binge drinking in Ireland
Irish people spend over 50 million Euro a week on alcohol. That's according to a new survey by the Health Research Board which shows that one in five of us binge drink every week. It also shows that 75 percent of alcohol drunk by people in a week was part of a binge drinking session. Reacting to the survey Alcohol Action Ireland says as a nation the Irish are in collective denial about our problem with drink..
