5,000 Jobs To Be Created With Cork To Limerick Motorway

Over 5,000 jobs would be created with the M20 Cork - Limerick motorway.

That's according to a new report the road would create the Atlantic Economic Corridor incorporating a three-city region of Cork, Limerick, and Galway.

Cork Chamber of Commerce are now calling on the Government to commit to the construction of the motorway in it's review of the 2017 Capital Plan.

Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe are due to publish their summer economic statement today and  Cork Chamber of Commerce are calling for the funding provision for the motorways' construction to be made in any financial planning.
