600 people on waiting lists for life saving organ transplants

Midleton Mum Michelle Fenton whose daughter received two transplants says it's very hard to deal with
Parents go through severe trauma waiting for an organ transplant for their child.
That's according to Midleton Mum Michelle Fenton, who's daughter Aimee - Louise has received two kidney donations from living donors in the past 15 years, the first from her dad Donal, and the second from her first cousin when her body rejected the first.
Families all across Ireland are living in limbo, as 600 people are currently waiting on lists for life saving heart, lung, liver, kidney and pancreas transplants.
Speaking to RedFM News Michelle says it's difficult for families to make the decision to donate their loved ones organs, but it is a wonderful gift to know that another family will benefit.
