62 people are waiting on a bed across both Cork Hospitals today

There are 62 people waiting for treatment on trolleys across both Cork hospitals today.
Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded in the country with 41 people receiving treatment in the Emergency Department, and 21 people are awaiting admission at the Mercy University Hosptial.
Figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation show 420 people are on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
