A Cork Cinema Has Withdrawn An Application That Would Allow It To Serve Alcohol On Its Premises

The Omniplex cinema in Mahon Point Shopping Centre had applied for the licence

The Echo reports that the licence would allow the company to serve alcoholic drinks at its 13-screen cinema in Mahon.

The application was due to be heard in court last Friday, however it was withdrawn before the hearing.

It's the second time in the Omniplex have applied for the licence in 4 years, after an application made by the company in 2015 was also withdrawn.
