A Cork Man Has Finished 40 Marathons In Just 36 Weeks In Memory Of His Brother
Tom O'Riordan from Togher comes from a family of 9 children
They tragically lost their brother Billy 30 years ago at the age of 15.
Today's marathon came in the form of 32 laps around the Lough, having already ran to the Lough from Douglas at 7am this morning.
In the process Tom has raised over 3,500 euro for Cork Simon, through sponsorship and a GoFundME page.
The GoFundMe page entitled 'Tom and Billys Marathon Madness For Simon' is still active with all proceeds going to Cork Simon.
Speaking to RedFM News, Tom O'Riordan says the experience made him feel close to his brother Billy:
