A delegation from Cork's business and tourism sector are to fly to Boston today, on a whistlestop tour to promote the city and county
The group will be meeting with their US counterparts before returning Leeside on Saturday morning
The group comprising of Minister for Tourism Brendan Griffin, as well as representatives from Cork Chamber, Cork Business Association, the Irish Hotels Federation, the City and County councils, as well as travel agents and tour operators will depart on the New Norwegian Air flight at 4.20pm today.
The Evening Echo reports that the trip has been scheduled to sell Cork as a destination for inward investment and American visitors.
