A Lotto Draw Is To Take Place On Christmas Day This Year
This is the first time in the National Lottery's history
However, the decision has been met with a lot of criticism from gambling addiction organisations.
There are around 40,000 people in Ireland with a gambling addiction, while nearly 4 in 10 Irish adults play the Lotto regularly.
Professor Colm O'Gara, head of addiction services at St. John of God's Services, thinks the National Lottery should re-think the draw:
