A Man Arrested In Cork Following A Manhunt Involving Up To 60 Gardai Has Been Remanded In Custody

It's after he was charged with a series of offences including burglary and ramming a Garda Patrol car

28-year-old Larry Connors from Cherryfield Way, Tallaght, Dublin, was brought before a special sitting of Cork District Court yesterday.

He was charged with a total of 10 offences at locations across Cork City and County, all on Thursday September 12th.

It's alleged Mr Connors rammed an Audi into a Garda Patrol car, before fleeing the scene and abandoning the car at Mahon Golf Club.

This follows a series of alleged burglaries of jewellery and cash in the Ballinhassig and Rochestown areas.

He has been denied bail and is due to appear before the courts again on Wednesday 18th of September.
