A man has died in county Mayo after a suspected hit-and-run
It happened at around 11.50pm last night at Humbert Way in Castlebar.
A man in his 40s who was a pedestrian was treated at the scene and brought to Mayo University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The road remains closed for a technical examination.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is being asked to contact Gardaí in Castlebar.
