A man remains in critical condition following an assault in North Cork
The man in his 50's was injured in the assault in Fermoy over the weekend.
The incident occurred at a public house on Abbey Street at around ten past one on Sunday morning.
The injured man was taken to Cork University Hospital where his conditions are described as critical.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
