A Protest Is Underway Outside City Hall Amid The Ongoing Homeless Crisis

The crisis is showing no signs of abating Leeside

Calls are being made for an investment in the construction of social housing in a bid to ease the escalating numbers of families that find themselves in emergency accommodation. 

The spotlight has been firmly on homelessness in Cork in recent weeks after a tented village emerged near the Mardyke.
