A Trader On Patrick Street Says There Are Positive Signs Emerging On The City's Main Street

Despite a number of closures in recent times there is strong interest in some of the vacant retail outlets
A number of high profile closures were announced in the wake of the COVID19 outbreak including Debenhams, Accessorize, Monsoon, and Clarks sparking fears for the future of retail.
However it's understood strong interest has been expressed in some of the vacant retail outlets.
Speaking to RedFM News Managing Director of Fitzgerald's Menswear on Patrick St Eddie Mullins says the situation is improving, footfall is increasing and the cost of doing business in the city is changing as a result of the pandemic:
