A Young Cork Boy Will Be Honoured For His Courage In The Face Of A Serious Illness
3 year old Tom Tom Cahill from Midleton underwent major surgery to remove a tumour from his kidney and received chemotherapy he was just 14 months old
He also had part of both his lungs and diaphragm removed.
'Tom Tom' was nominated for the award by his neighbours and will receive his National Children of Courage Award at the Share a Dream Ball tomorrow in Limerick
Speaking to RedFM News, Tom Tom's mother Paula says he remained upbeat throughout the whole experience
