Aer Lingus on strike

Cork passengers are facing major travel disruption at Cork airports over the June Bank Holiday weekend. Cabin crew who are members of the IMPACT trade union are to hold a 24 hour work stoppage on Friday the 30th of May, in Cork, Dublin and Shannon airports due to the ongoing dispute over rostering. The Union says crew are getting just one day off in 13 - and are exhausted at work - and some have required medical attention because of it. IMPACT members have voted by 97 per cent in favour of taking the industrial action.
