Aircraft Diverted To Cork Due To Medical Emergency
A Jet2 aircraft was diverted to Cork Airport last night due to a medical emergency on board.
The flight which was bound for Newcastle from Tenerife landed in Cork yesterday evening and passengers were accommodated in the Departure Hall until another replacement aircraft could assist.
It's emerged that an 81-year-old man passed away on the flight and was pronounced dead at Cork Airport.
