Alcohol Advertisements To Be Banned On Public Transport From Today

Alcohol advertisements will be banned on public transport and at stops from today.

It's part of a series of measures coming into effect as part of the Public Health Alcohol Act, aimed at changing Irelands drinking culture.

Alcohol advertisements on children's clothing will also be banned, along with alcohol ads in cinemas, except on over 18s films.
