Aldi set to open store in Clonakilty

German discount retailer Aldi has unveiled plans to open a new store in Clonakilty in 2022.
The project could create up to 80 construction jobs and 20 permanent positions when it's opened at The Waterfront in the centre of the town.
The store will have 109 parking spaces, will be powered by 100% green electricity and will include two free-to-use electric car charging points.
Aldi operates 23 stores in Cork along with their regional distribution centre in Mitchelstown.
