Almost €2 Million Worth Of Bicycles Have Been Stolen Since 2016

New Garda figures show that bicycle theft was up 7.5% in 2017

It's feared that number will rise again this year.

It comes as city officials continue to encourage people to cycle with initiatives such as the City Centre Movement Strategy.

Gardaí launched a new campaign at UCC today encouraging people to 'Lock It or Lose It'.
