Andrew McGinley shuts down Facebook page dedicated to memory of his children Carla, Connor and Darragh
It's after what he calls 'rancid' comments were posted on the site in relation to the case.
Deirdre Morley was found not guilty of murder by reason of insanity following a trial last week.
Andrew says there have been horrific comments appearing on Facebook:
"They state opinions that are contradictory to the expert medical testimony that was in the trial. Again, claiming to be friends and knowing the real story and the truth, just rancid stuff, so I still have a great experience on Twitter and on Instagram so I thought I just do not need the kind of commentary that is attracted to Facebook, so I took the decision just to come off Facebook."
