Anti Drugs March on Northside of city scheduled for Friday

An anti drugs march, organised by the Cork 32 County Sovereignty Movement, is being held on the Northside of the city this Friday.

The group say the aim of the march is to highlight what they describe as the State's failure to deal with the heroin epidemic which is sweeping through the city and destroying our youth.

The marchers will assemble at the bottom of Harbour View Road and carry a black coffin through the northside and place it on the steps of Knocknaheeny Church..

Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show on Cork's RedFM James from the Group says the community need to stand up to the minority who are peddling drugs to their children
