ASTI says their members will no longer work for free

The ASTI say their members are due payment for supervision or substitution duties, and they'll no longer work for free.

Hundreds of schools including 50 here in Cork are closed today in a row over pay for the dutied. 

The union says a €6 payment per teacher per week is what's needed to solve the row, however the Department of Education is refusing to negotiate pay outside the Lansdowne Road agreement.
