Ava Barry To Return Home After Medicinal Cannabis Licence Granted
Vera Twomey is celebrating this morning following the granting of a licence for her daughter Ava to receive access to medicinal cannabis in Ireland.
The Cork mum made the announcement last night on Facebook saying her seven-year-old will be home in time for Christmas from the Netherlands where she is currently receiving treatment for a rare form of epilepsy.
The Aghabullog woman led an extensive campaign to get access to medicinal cannabis for her daughter which involved walking from her Cork home to the Dáil.
