Ballinagree residents frustrated by life on a ghost estate
The difficulties of living in a "ghost estate" is being raised by residents of one such estate near Macroom Six years after moving in residents of the Carrigrua Estate in Ballinagree say it's like living on a building site There are 22 houses in the estate but only nine are finished, one is half built and roads and lighting are unfinished. Residents say they can't let their children play outside as there are a multitude of trip hazards on the site. AIB has confirmed that it's working with "key parties" to help fix the problems on the "ghost estate" Local resident Valerie Cooper says initially she was happy with her house but over time things have gone downhill Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
