Valencia Coastguard says they are planning a 'big push' with the sea search operation for missing Barry Davis Ryan in Baltimore once the weather improves.
Weather conditions are hampering underwater searchers who remain on standby in hope of a break in the weather.
The 20-year-old went missing after his girlfriend Niamh O'Connor was swept into the sea near the Beacon by a rogue wave last Tuesday.
Her body and that of his father Barry Ryan Snr, who tried to save her, were recovered shortly after the incident.
Land searches meanwhile are still ongoing despite the weather conditions.
Speaking to RedFM News coxwain with Baltimore lifeboat Kieran Cotter says they are hopeful of recovering the body:
