Traders and residents were up in arms when it emerged three months ago that the village had been left out of a tax break scheme which is designed to promote regeneration and city living.
Now City Planners have asked the Finance Minister to extend the boundary of the initiative to include Patrick Street and the South Mall, as well as Blackpool village, and the St Luke’s and Military Hill areas...
