Body of Egyptian fisherman returned to West Cork

The body of an Egyptian man who died on board an Irish trawler has been returned to Castletownbere harbour this afternoon.
The Gardai and Marine Surveillance Office are opening an investigation into the incident which happened on board the Endurance fishing trawler last night.
The man, who was in his 50's was pronounced dead on board and a post mortem is expected to take place as soon as possible,in accordance with the Muslim faith.
Speaking to RedFM news Ken Fleming from the International Transport Workers Federation says it's essential the fisherman's remains are sent home to Egypt speedily for burial:
