Body recovered during search for missing Barry Davis Ryan

It's ten days since the 20-year-old went into the water in Baltimore.
A body has been recovered off the West Cork coast by divers searching for Barry Davis Ryan.
The 20-year-old went into the water at Beacon Point to try to rescue his girlfriend Niamh O'Connor who was swept into the sea by a rogue wave. She and his father Barry Ryan senior died in the incident.
A massive land and search operation was launched in a bid to find the missing student and an appeal for assistance resulted in up to 160 volunteers and divers taking part in the search.
One of the dive teams found the body just before lunchtime, and it has since been brought ashore to Baltimore pier.
The body has yet to be formally identified.
Search and Rescue Operations Manager with the Irish Coastguard Gerard O'Flynn says they would like to thank those who have supported the search.
