Boil water notice issued for East Cork
Irish Water has issued a Boil Water Notice for over 10,000 customers in East Cork following heavy rain.
Areas Affected are Midelton South East, Ballynacorra, Cloyne, Aghada, Whitegate, Ballycotton, Churchstown and Trabolgan.
Irish Water and the Cork County council are liaising with the HSE who advised them to issue a boil water notice in the interest of public health.
All customers in the area have been advised to boil all water for drinking, food preparation, brushing teeth and making ice until further notice.
