Buckley family issue statement following guilty plea in Glasgow
They say they hope the killer of Cork woman Karen Buckley remains behind bars for life.
The family of Karen Buckley say they hope her killer will spend the rest of his life behind bars.
Alexander Pacteau pleaded guilty in Glasgow High Court to murdering the 24 year old nurse from Mourneabbey in April.
The 21 year old issued an apology to the Buckley family through his lawyer, and said he accepted that he caused her death.
Judge Lady Rae remanded him in custody for sentencing on September 8th.
