Bus Eireann drivers to return to work
The company says some services have returned this evening, but the vast majority will not be operational until tomorrow morning
Bus Eireann drivers will return to work while they consider a recommendation from the Labour Court aimed at resolving the dispute at the company.
Its after talks broke down at the Workplace Relations Commission earlier this week.
Pickets have been lifted at depots around the country, but it's expected to be lunchtime tomorrow before a full service operates.
SIPTU says the proposals include around 200 job losses at different levels through voluntary redundancies, the closure of Dundalk maintenance garage, a 10 per-cent cut to earnings over 60-thousand-euro and changes to rostering.
SIPTU's Willie Noone outlines some of what's contained in the recommendations.
