Bus Éireann says it will cut its greenhouse gas emissions in half in Cork over the next ten years

It also today announced it would also grow it's passenger numbers by 30%. 

The company says it will achieve the plans with a new fleet, new charging systems and new training for mechanics and craftworkers in Cork.

Around 15 million passengers use Bus Éireann services in Cork every year, with buses generating up to five times less emissions than cars per passenger kilometre, according to the company.
