Businesses in Little Island are calling for action to be taken on infrastructure

The County Council is to conduct a transportation study in the area to help alleviate traffic gridlock at peak times when up to 10,000 workers commute in and out of Little Island

The Little Island Business Association has welcomed the study but says it must lead to speedy and comprehensive results and investment as they expect the area to grow substantially over the next 10 years

Speaking to RedFM News the Association's Michael Mulcahy says the road infrastructure has not changed since the 60's and it's time for real change.
