Businesses report a loss following flooding Leeside

Clean up operations are underway in a number of Cork towns.
Business owners Leeside are reporting a loss in trade over the Christmas period as a result of flooding.
Bandon, Midleton and Fermoy were among some of the towns worst hit in recent weeks following multiple storms and heavy rainfall.
The Carrigrohane Road has reopened but the Lee Road remains closed and the Cork/Waterford Road between Killeagh/CastleMartyr is expected to remain closed until at least Wednesday with a detour in place.
Traders in Bandon are set to protest in Dublin in the coming days to vent their frustration and call for the delivery of the Bandon Flood Relief Scheme.
Midleton was one of the towns which was badly affected by flooding and Speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Ken Horgan of Coakley's Men's Wear in the town says consumers didn't want to take chances by going out shopping.
