Buttevant locals seek improved roads

The National Roads Authority is being urged to repair the crumbling main street and pathways of Buttevant. Residents want the N.R.A to assign €3.4 million for the project. It comes after hundreds of locals recently blocked the street in protest over the conditions of the road and footpaths which has resulted in several people sustaining injuries. The town is demanding action is taken or residents are threatening a repeat protest.
