Cabinet Member Says He Trusts Enda Kenny's Seanad Choices
A member of the Cabinet says he trusts the Taoiseach's judgement on Seanad appointments.
It's emerged that one of Enda Kenny's 11 nominees - Billy Lawless - had previously given the Taoiseach's daughter a job during her J1 visa trip to the United States.
Questions have also emerged about footing the travel costs for Senator Lawless - who lives in the Chicago - when he attends the Seanad on a weekly basis.
Health Minister Simon Harris has refused to be drawn:
