Calls being made to address future of Whitegate Oil Refinery

Cork Chamber of Commerce are calling on the government to address concerns surrounding the future of Whitegate Oil Refinery. 300 people are currently employed at the refinery which is a major part of East Cork's energy hub. The calls come as a legal agreement to continue operations at the refinery between the owners - US Company Phillips 66 - and the government is due to expire next year. Speaking to RedFM News Chief Executive of Cork Chamber Conor Healy says the Minister needs to state the Government's position on the situation. Click the PLAY button to hear.
