Calls For City Council To Outline City Fire Brigade's Ability To Fight Fires In High Rise Buildings

It's after a major blaze in Dublin’s 15 storey high Metro Hotel overnight and the recent tragic fire in London’s Grenfell Tower.
Cork is currently home to two of Ireland’s tallest buildings.
A proposal is currently on the table for a 40 storey tower adjacent to Cork Customs House.
Speaking to RedFM News Cork City Councillor Ted Tynan praised the work of the fire brigade locally and nationally but says the Cork City fire service will need to be properly resourced and might need extra funding:
