Calls For Improvement To Corks Cycle Infrastructure
The Green Party is calling for further investment in cycling infrastructure Leeside.
According to recent figures from the CSO, the number of Cork commuters cycling or choosing public transport as a means of transport is below the national average.
Although there positive signs in the city where the number of commuters cycling is above the national average at 3.9%, the overal figure for the county stands at 1.5%.
Speaking to RedFM News Green Party representative Justin Fleming says Cork has improved over the last few years but can do much better:
