Calls for the BAI to review rules on balance for referendum

It follows the coverage of the Marriage Referendum in recent weeks.
There are calls for the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland to review how its rules around balance were implemented in the Marriage Referendum debate.
The head of the National Union of Journalists here says broadcasters sometimes had to let factual inaccuracies go in their efforts to ensure both sides got fifty percent of the air time.
AUDIO: Seamus Dooley says that restriction on Journalists needs to be relaxed, in order to encourage a broader discussion on the issues.
