Car Imports Increased By Over 56%
2017 is proving unpredictable for the Irish motor industry.
New research carried out by the SIMI and DoneDeal, shows used car imports increased by over 56% compared with last year.
Economist Jim Power says, based on sales for 2017 so far, it is possible that new registrations for the full year could be down 10 percent on 2016.
