Catholic Bishops In U.S. Vote To Deny President Joe Biden Receiving Communion
The Bishops voted in favour of drafting a document that would prevent Catholic politicians and public figures from receiving communion if they support abortion rights
Joe Biden, only the second ever Catholic President, stands to be banned if the document is approved in November.
However not all bishops are in agreement with the move, with Bishop Robert McElroy of San Diego calling it "the weaponisation of the Eucharist".
