Central Bank figures show 7% of mortgages in Cork are in arrears
7% of mortgages in Cork are currently in arrears.
That's according to data from the Central Bank and comes on foot of a reminder to people in difficulty that free support services are available to home owners in arrears.
Abhaile, which is administered by MABS, has been running since October and has already helped nearly 5,000 people in mortgage distress.
Anyone who needs help is is urged to contact MABS, a free and confidential service, by calling the national helpline on 0761 07 2000.
