Cervical cancer survivors are hitting out over what they say is a lack of communication around their audit results.

An independent Expert Panel has been tasked with reviewing the smears of over 1000 women, to see if their cancer could have been detected earlier.

Despite plans to disclose the results from September, survivors still don't know how they will receive the news.
