CIT launch Suicide Aware Amber Flag
CIT has today become the first Institute of Technology in Ireland to be awarded the Suicide Aware Amber Flag. The college has been recognised for its focus on student's mental health. Minister for Mental Health Kathleen Lynch was there for the presentation of the flag. Speaking to Cork's RedFM she said that it's so important that colleges get on board with addressing the stigma surrounding suidide as it's a problem government can't solve alone: (Click above for audio)
