CIT Student's Union try to tackle student accommodation shortage

CIT Student's Union are today calling on homeowners in the city to rent their spare rooms to students. The union say there is a shortage of accommodation for students which is born out of a number of factors - including rising rents, student numbers increasing and houses being rented to families over students. They would welcome any long term solution from the council or a developer into solving the issue before the situation reaches crisis point.
