City And County Council Plan For Next 30 Years Of Growth In Cork

Cork City Council and County Council have joined forces in a bid to progress the county over the next thirty years.
The main objectives of "Cork 2050" were set out this week by both councils in a bid to drive the region to prosperity and make it a complementary location to Dublin.
A blueprint given to government earlier this year forecast a population growth of over 300,000 and calls were made in the wake of this report for increased focus on infrastructure.
Speaking to RedFM News Director of Housing at Cork City Council Valerie O'Sullivan says they're already preparing for the future:
