City Centre Commercial Vacancies Set To Decline

Commercial vacancy rates in the city are expected to continue declining over the coming year.
It follows a recent survey which found the vacancy rate in the city now stands at 12.8%.
In the county the commercial vacancy rate for quarter two stands at 11.5%, below the national average of 13.1%.
It's expected that major upcoming developments such as the revamp of the Capitol Cinema site and the highly anticipated Events Centre will boost trade further.
Speaking to RedFM News Conor Healy CEO of Cork Chamber of Commerce says there's a great deal of renewed interest in the city:
