City centre expected to benefit from sale of former Capitol Cinema building

It is hoped the sale of the former Capitol Cinema building on the Grand Parade will benefit the city centre. The site which has been vacant for almost a decade has come on the market with a guide price of €6m. It is believed the site could increase footfall into the city centre if it's redeveloped.
